A. Overtime payments are only available for non-exempt positions, as determined by the Director of Human
Resources.
B. Support staff shall not work hours beyond their regular schedule until the procedure outlined below has been
met.
C. When additional work time is necessary, the immediate supervisor of the staff member shall secure approval
from a District Director.
D. Overtime pay, at time and one-half the regular pay rate, shall be paid only after the completion of forty (40)
hours per week of work.
E. Overtime pay, at time and one-half the regular pay rate, shall be paid only for hours actually worked in
excess of forty (40) hour week and shall not be paid if the employee has used timeoff with pay provisions of
other policies such as emergency leave, sick leave, holiday pay, vacation pay, etc.
