9120b Relations_Photographs Pictures

The District has a need for photographs for use in personnel records, student records, school newsletters, general
public information, and the like.
Whenever possible, a recent photograph should be obtained from each staff member and from each new staff
member, upon employment. The photo shall be kept in the staff member's personnel file for use primarily in
publicity about the staff member and/or the District.
Commercial use of personal photographs shall be prohibited without specific approval of the parent and/or staff
member. Group photographs of a general nature may be used for public relations and media press releases;
however, individual photographs require a written approval from the parent/staff member prior to use.
