The Board of Education recognizes that the District must develop and maintain curriculum guides in order to better
accomplish learning results with students.
As appropriate to the course of study, each guide shall contain:
A. The learning view; B. Units and key concepts needed to achieve the outcome; C. Learning activities needed to achieve the outcome; D. Appropriate materials and resources; E. Evaluation criteria, standards, and methods which will confirm the extent to which learning outcomes have been achieved; and F. A list of supplemental materials for the guidance of teachers. The Superintendent shall be responsible for the preparation of curriculum guides and shall establish administrative guidelines related to their preparation.
All new course guides and revisions of existing guides shall be submitted to the Board for approval before they are implemented.
Copies of all current course guides shall be kept online.
