Neither marriage nor pregnancy shall be limiting factors for the education of any student in the schools of this
District.
The Board of Education's responsibility for the education of all school-age children includes the education of
pregnant students, whether married or unmarried. Any variation from continuing regular school classes shall be
based upon the assessed needs of such students.
The school may request medical verification of a student's ability to continue in all classes in her program. A
pregnant student, however, may not be compelled to withdraw from her regular education program.
