The Board of Education recognizes the value to students of sharing their talents and skills with the community
through participation and performances in public events.
The Board endorses such performances when they constitute a learning experience which contributes to the
educational program.
All requests directed to the School District for public performances by students in the Wauwatosa School District
require the approval of the principal.
The Superintendent shall develop administrative procedures to implement this policy which include the requirement
that parental permission is sought and received before students participate and that the interests of our students
are to be protected and guarded against exploitation.
